  • Gopher problem

    Since Im new..figured Id post a pic of myself....this is me in the airhandler...had to foam the chase....remove old copper line set...had to go over head with new lines...long story...

    Any way..this is a MAytag unit with a gopher in it.

            Welcome to the forum. clean work. question, there is no trap on the condensate drain? I can't really tell........looks like there is a tee.....

              It is traped outside and not at the airhandler......the T on the right side is a over flow safety switch....turns off unit (breaks red) if drain clogs up.

              One think I like about maytags...that Stainless Steel front panel looks great and customers love it.

                  I like the stainless front and also the idea of the safety switch. I don't like the idea of a maytag system. I am a Amana Man

                      Whew! What a relief!! Last time we had a gopher problem on the Ridgid forum we lost all the Electricians!!
