The city was working on their line in the street
I tried to blame this on one of my kids.

            Wow,

I have this same problem when I eat a whole pack of fig newtons before going to bed.

But...I never try to blame it on the plumbing.

But hey! It could be worse!

Looks awesome. That kind of work like Hawk's, KTS, and a few others is pretty reassuring that the trade still holds a value to professionalism.

please give some details on this.

i had a job at the beverly center with the valet parking office toilet that used to spit/ splat onto the ceiling above it.

turned out that the lines leading out needed jetting and the lateral had traps. when the flow picked up, there was so much back pressure that the seat would blow open and the $hit would hit the fart fan.

                      rick.

                        Re: Work we do

This particular toilet has an air admittance valve (AAV) the city was jetting the lines on our street. My wife was in the office about 20 feet away from the bathroom and heard some funny noises so she got up to investigate and almost ended up in the picture. This could be another topic "how mad have you seen a woman" I'm glad I was working away from the house that day. None of the other toilets at the house that are correctly vented had a problem. Of course since our kids use this toilet all the time I had to point the finger at them, I wasn't going to fess up to my wife that I was probably the reason for this.
