  • Boiler Questions/concerns

Hey Guys, newbe to site, Looks great, gonna dig deeper and check out. Anyway: I just installed a new boiler. The water pressure is between 25-30 psi. Too close to max 30. Isolated autofill valve to eliminate that. Still climbs. Any ideas??? Also Boiler seems to loose temp rapidly. Approx. 10 deg. in 15 Min. causing boiler to cycle because of 10 deg. differential on high limit. Wondering if this could also be program concern on aquastat not allowing enough temp drop.. Thoughts??...Curt

Sounds exactly like a flooded expansion tank or a burst diaphragm in a new tank. Is this a combi system or do you have an indirect fired Hot Water Tank attached
