  • York Furnance - Inducer problem?

    Hello,

So back in December the fan in my inducer came apart and I had it replaced. Then the motor for my blower went, fixed that. Now my heater isn't working again.

I pulled the cover and I'm getting the 3 blinking red lights - presure switch. I checked the lines, no blockage that I can see or feel, I pulled the inducer fan and it's not stuck.

So I pulled the power to the furnance, plugged it back in and waited. Light was a slow flashing green light, then it tries to click on, I hear power to the inducer but that's it, it's not turning. I'm thinking this is more of an Inducer issue, not the presure switch. Ideas? Thanks

forgot to mention, I bypassed the pressure switch with the same results.

Use your voltmeter to make sure you have 115 volts to the inducer motor. "Hearing" the relay click does not guarantee that voltage is flowing to the motor.
