  • triangle tube condensing boilers

Looking at a PS 110. Looks to be quality, any feed back, appreciated. Replacing a
53 year old AO smith perma glass.
I can build anything You want , if you draw a picture of it , on the back of a big enough check .

I've installed lots of those. Excellent unit. Can't say enough good things about it. It is priced slightly higher than comparable units.

Follow the piping diagram EXACTLY as shown and you won't have a problem. It's slightly different than other units so make sure the installer understands this and reads the instructions.

If you have low gas pressure in that area better check it before installing. Minimum is 5" WC with all other appliances running.

The mounting bracket is a bit flimsy for my liking. It supports the bare unit fine but once it's all dressed up with piping, it's a bit weak.

We live in a Eichler neighbor hood. 1958 , 3/8" COPPER IN CONC. SLAB. Our gas pressure is 1/2 a lb.
up here N. Ca. I do know these are used in our area. I'll see if I can get the Try. Tb. 2 day class first.
          Thanks for the advise.

I install triangle tube's indirect fired water heaters all the time, and I think they're an excellent company. Never installed a condensing boiler before though.

There's an old gas water heater. I wonder if I should go for the challenger? It has domestic hot water in one package!

The Triangle Tube Prestige Solo 110 is what heats my home. I have installed maybe 100 of them. Make no mistake I love the savings on my home's heating bills. The unit is without question a solid piece of equipment. That being said...had I not received the unit for free, I would have installed a Lochinvar Knight series. The new 01 series have some really sweet built in controls. It really comes down to what you need the system to do as to which unit would be best over all. Either way the Solo is top notch! The TT Excellence series has also performed well if you want domestic water in the same space. I have 5 of those units out there and zero complaints!
