  • framing first or water heating pipe first in basement

Normally we will do framing then piping. But if with frame there, how can you insert long pipe, which will cross multiple studs, in? I am doing basement with hot water baseboards. I should hide those pipe within the frames when possible. Is this right? thanks,

pipes usually flex enough to make the fit relatively easy. pex makes it even easier.

When doing new construction, if you have a long run thru the floor joist you can drill an extra hole out thru the sill and slide a 20 footer in from outside. This probably wouldnt work well in a finished house,
mainly because of wiring being in the way. Buy lots of couplings
