  • Perseverance pays off !

It started as a sputering flame on My 60 year old AO smith permaglass boiler. I took off,all the outer Jacket souround.
Right away there was heavy green corrosion on the the heat exchanger fins and copper coils passing through them. Boiler is in garage. Using 1x6, I built a 32" box, water dam at floor . and caulked to floor. took My shop vac hose and
clamped it inside 1/4" above concrete. covered controls with plastic. Using My 3200 psi power washer. I cleaned off all
crud from exchanger and copper coils. I cut the handle off a small stainless steel brush. Laying on My back, and reaching under and Up, I wire brushed all the gas holes on the round burner bonnet. still unassembled I fired it up.
Thank You Lord, for always being there for this stumble Bum Irishnan ! It has a beautiful Blue flame No sputtering !
Better to be lucky than good !
I can build anything You want , if you draw a picture of it , on the back of a big enough check .
