    Re: Wirsbo Pex tools

I've done my share of crimp joints, I've been doing this plumbing thing for 20 yrs. I'd be willing to bet I could tie a panel in faster with expansion than with crimp. Yes, I've seen ProPex joints drip, but I've seen crimp joints drip too. Too each his own

i have never seen a crimp leak that was done right. the rings are either not set the right distance from the end of the pipe, they are on crooked, or crimpers are dratstically out of callibration. there is no way you could expand and tie in a headre quicker than a crimp. the simple act of expanding takes a hell of allot longer. since were in the same city maybe we will have to test this someday
how is it that so many answers are in the instructions

That's the good thing about the cinch clamp system. Each crimp can be done right because the ring isn't covered by the crimping jaws.

Maybe you can meet at the Ridgid Roundup for the Challenge.

As a matter of fact I took the liberty to look at the distances

Los Angeles to Ridgid = 2320 miles (3734 km)

Alberta to Ridgid = 2067 miles (3326 km)

Of course as I don't know where in Alberta you live it may be off a bit.
