We used M once in a while.Worked fine but no idea how the specs work out for it.
The only problem we ran into was pro-pressing onto older pipe as the diameter was decreased so I would normally then scab on a piece from a coupling and then 'press on'.
Only reamed in and out.Rarely sanded.Often filed.
In this case: scab=solder.
