    Re: Pipe stand

I got lucky and stole a brand new one for $40.00 when I drove 350 miles to pick up a K-3800@$600.00.This guy was a rep for a company going out of business I found on craigslist

I would pay full price but the job would have to be substantial.

I have some 46 and 92 and they both are well worth the money. I believe I even have some NOS sitting in my building in Utah.

We use the old standby Ridgid tri stand, we lengthen the chain on em' , so we can chain down 12"-16" pipe though.

For over 50 years, we've had a Model BC210 bench chain vise fastened to the back of all of our trucks. Makes life easy when you have a rolling work station anchored to a 2 ton weight with everything you would possibly need for pipe fabrication at your disposal.

Make sure to take a peek at the 425 Tristand, too, which is a small 460. I especially like that one.

At work we have a mix of ridgid V and roller type and roller benches like above and a set of power benches at the shop. For my own thing I want with fold up ones. I try and post a pic latter
