  • Ridgid RP 210-B

I'm going to buy my first propress tool and after researching them I think I Like the 210-B because of the lithium ion battery and good working action down to minus 10 degrees. I'm in northern MN.

Just wanted to find out any info from others that have this exact tool. How is it? How do you like it, pro's and cons. Thanks.

    Re: Ridgid RP 210-B

    the 210-b replaced the 100-b.

the capacity of the 210 is 1.25''.

the design is comparable to the new 330-b that replaced the 320-b.

but remember that the capacity of the 330 is 4'' with xl/ xlc jaws 2.5''-4''.

so if you never plan on doing larger than 1.25'' then the 210 is perfect.

if you have to do 1.5''- 4'' then you will either need a second machine or maybe think about the 330 instead.

only issue is the 330 is not as compact as the 210.

    don't own a 210 yet, but i do own the 330, 3-320's, 100, and 400

don't worry, the first one was expensive, the rest were a bargain after you start using them

bill, i wish i knew how to snipe

i have to sit in front of the computer and watch the clock.

once i was running late, called joey to have the computer on and at the door. i was only minutes away from the end of the auction.

can't remember if i won or not, but joey had it up and running when i raced home.

don't worry, marks done the same to me

Thanks Rick, I do appreciate the info. I want it for doing up to 1" mostly so the 210 would be perfect. I also like that it has the new lithium ion battery for longer life.
I'm still in the shopping mode for price, if you know of a good place to buy please let me know. Looks like they're selling for around 1800 for the kit with jaws. Thanks again!

            Re: Ridgid RP 210-B

Can the 210 do the new snap cutter device? Or do I need the 330? Heck why was the 400 discontinued? Did it have a problem with snout cracks?
Also why are you switching from proflow to uponar

              Re: Ridgid RP 210-B

210 will not do the snap cutters.

the 400 is not discontinued as far as i know.

but they have a cordded 330-c model now.

I thought I heard the snapper works in conjunction with all Ridgid press tools.
