    that's the great thing about propress. you don't have to fight tight fittings. these things will literally slip into place by themselves. that's why it's important to use a sharpie to mark the joint depths.

    i thought you have a pressing tool already

      I do. Would you believe there is not 1 Press Fitting at any supply house in my area right now.? Not 1. Gets more use on PEX....

      And for whatever reason, I don't run into many of the press situations that you do or maybe I don't think press first. Why would I? Can't find the fittings.

        Go to pexsupply.com and look in the copper propress fittings. Do you have the copper jaws JC?

            im not a 100% on this but i dont think you can solder it under ground here ,i think you would have to flair it .
