Just my 2cents.

Power tools in general I feel the same way. My cordless have their place but 90% of the time if I have access to an outlet I will use my corded tools.

ok it was not a ridgid rep it was a Rems rep and also selling Elkhart fittings

the tool was heavy and was only a 12v

now is it true when you crimp a Viega fitting the pipe inside the fitting gets all bent up but the Elkhart fittings dont do it ?

1.5'' -2'' there is a noticeable crimp. nothing i would worry about as i have a good 6 year + track record with these fittings with 0 failures. this i know for a fact

the ridgid propress jaws will press all the brands of fittings. 1/2''-2'' not sure about the 2.5-4'' as viega is all i use.

Re: a good day next Monday

the original 400 corded propress didn't have a swivel jaw head. but the new corded 330 is identical to the 330 cordless in that the head will swivel 270 degrees.

of course you could always get the propress rings that allow for a swivel offset.

between the swivel head and swivel jaws, there's a position for every tight application.

Not sure how much copper you are working with, but once you have the tool, it won't be sitting long enough to have the batteries just run down.

The system is amazing and I just get so happy when I get a job big enough to rent one.
