      Re: Demo Request

charlie, the rep can write up the order. but it needs to be processed through your supply house.

i would suggest you get a price hashed out with your best vendor and then when it comes time, the rep can process it through them.

15% off list would be a good price. anything more would be a great price remember they will make it up with your fitting purchases down the road

you sure i don't need to come visit

          Re: Demo Request

Correct, our salesman can't sell you direct. However, they'd be happy to do the demonstration and work with you on whom you go through for the purchase. You can request a demo here: http://ridgid.com/tools/Product-Info-Request/

Thanks for the post and interest!

                  Re: Demo Request

I've seen 2.5", Never seen 3.5". But i've by no means seen it all. The XLC ring kit I rent from my supply house doesn't come with a 3.5" jaw though.
No, it's not rocket science, it's plumbing and unlike rocket science it requires a license.

                      Re: Demo Request

                      jaws are 2.5''/ 2.625 od, 3''/ 3.125 od and 4''/ 4.125'' od.

unless they make a 3.5/ 3.625 od jaw, propress is not the call.

3.5'' copper is not a plumbing size i've ever seen or installed. just did a goggle search and i can see the pipe is made. but i couldn't find any fittings to match. it must be an oddball size for the plumbing industry.

at 1 time we couldn't get 5'' copper and had to up size to 6''. several hundred feet at the job

charlie, is 3.5'' common to the hvac trade

I suggest you get a quote from Kirk at AJ Coleman in Chicago. You have nothing to lose, and money to save. It's where I bought mine, and believe me, I shopped.
