  • I love my new toy [ tool ]

this week i started work on a pool heating system using 3" and 2 1/2 " L copper pipe . the amount of pipe and fittings i got done in 2 1/2 days i would never have got that much done with out my new Propress

i still soldered my ball valves because 2" valves are $75 cheaper then press valves and for the 2 1/2" valves i would have had to go with a butterfly valve if i pressed it so i soldered in a ball valve

the other thing i did was to put in some 3/4" drains so i used my Tee drill to pull the pipe then brazed in a 3/4 fitting x fip adpt , still much cheaper then a 3 x 3/4 press tee

I love this tool ,wish i had it when it first came out but the boss is old school and it took me a long time and the loss of a big airline job for him to see it is worth it
