I press right thru a 50 yr old water service today! I was there to replace the main valve and after I turned the water back on I went back into the basement to check for leaks and the 90 was leaking at the connection to the soft copper . I would post the picture I have on my Droid as I am still working but don't know how.

it looks like it was a weak spot maybe flux or the crap that they put in our water out here . When I looked in pipe I saw a chunk of something when I touched it it fell out and then I could see the fitting. I reamed the new cut and repiped every thing. I stayed their for another 30 min. And it never dried. I think I may start using pex for small repairs more.

it's approved up to 1.25'' soft. i think the biggest issue is that the soft copper is not typically round when you unroll it.

glad you got it. next time cut out the middle men and speak right to the boss. you got my #. remember ricky don't loose that number, it's the only one you got
