I was offered a chance to buy an used one with cu jaws for 1/2 to 2"- $1200.

Is it worth buying the first generation equipment?

If there was a thread already, please point me it that direction.

do you know the history of this machine?

there is a 20,000 crimp duty cycle and unless you bring it to an authorized propress shop, you have no way to tell the life cycles.

are the makita batteries any good?

i can sell you a brand new one for 2,000.

Small company- shared among the trucks.
I believe but do know, that did not have alot of use.
Batteries seemed ok. Saw it make one press.

      Never considered new.

should be fine. but if you have a local propress shop, bring it in. i believe there might only be 7 in the usa.

i'm lucky that there is 1 that's 10 miles away.
