tripod. so i don't get dizzy next time

i also liked to pre-dig my wyes and then cut them in later.

had 1 job i need to make a 45 without touching the stub of the wye. actually used a 1.5'' pipe driven into the ground with a 2'' pipe roller to allow for the line to spin around it. worked very good.

your cable puller is short strokes and my chain puller is long strokes.

what size crew do you man the job with?

    rick.

4 Guys plus me most times. I cut the wyes back about 2 inches now (i learned the hard way)
Here is a little bit more of the job

House had an addition over the original bad sewer, finshed basement with bamboo hard wood floors. About a foot down so bursting was the best choice for the repair.

Rick I am finding a lot of guys just burst in the sewer solving the major problem but don't tie in the rainleaders or dig them up, man wait till the rains come and the peoples basement floods!

fortunately we don't have combined storm and sanitary. so the rain leaders are not an issue.

looks like the trenchless is paying off for you

          have you done 6'' yet?

Yea I have done 11 6" jobs, My luck I caught a 6" my first job! Way to learn huh? I think I could do 8" with this setup, I have a special mole I bought to run at the same time as the burster in case I got stuck so I think I can do 8" just waiting for some storm drain or large apt. complex to give it a shot lol.
