    nice looking work
but i hope you did not wire it because that need some work like strapping it to the wall straight

Everything with the pics got spread out. The supply /return runs to the fan coil units were pex.. Actually my first crimp ring transitions. To be honest I would have felt more comfortable using sharkbite couplings for the transitions..But time will tell I guess. The systems run great. I wired the outdoor sensors and they seem to work great too..The caleffi flow checks were a plus as they were a nice change fron the old cast iron monsters.

No I did just the low voltage thermostat\ sensor wiring. The wiring was temporary and was re done by a master electrician..I will try and get some better pics after the clean up..Trust me , there is no way I would leave spaghetti dangling behind my work..Thanks for the kudos though..

          Nice work!

Just 1 observation though...I notice some guys like to install their expansion tanks low, as you did in your install. Never really seen that done before around here.

the tank looks like it has a base on it to sit on the floor ,i have done that a lot as long as you have a 30" clearance around it or if it is next to the boiler then the boiler then it all falls with in the 30" clearance

i dont remember about the clearance when it is a wall hung boiler ,i put them up over 6ft

I've never seen an expansion tank like that installed on a hydronic heating system before. Neat set-up though.

Yeah , I thought it ws a little over kill too. But I figured what's wrong with a bit more expansion..

we have to have 30" clearance around any pressure vessel

Very clean work, I like the way you wipre and it looks like you sand your copper fittings and pipe after cleaning them. As for hte expansion tank, I just did a 35 gallon I think it was, it was a couple months ago, I love the free standing tanks when they are that big, imagine trying to put that thing on a wall!

                            Good job, excellent clean work.

Thaks a lot . I was expecting to install a much smaller well trol expansion tank but those monsaers were speced for the system. I didn't supply the boilers or pumps. The gc needed to make a couple bucks too. Yeah the copper really gleams. It 's all a timing thing and wiping while everything is still hot to the touch.I told the gc I would have liked to have done the job in propress..but elected to do it the ol' fashioned way
