  • Press Fittings Stainless Steel, European Standard vs. USA

    Hello,

Just a short question. Is there a difference between European M-Profile press fittings and North American press fittings? I know there is a difference between the threads (ISO7-1 Vs. NPT) but also with press fittings?

I have the RP 200-B Press, M-Profile, and now am working on a project in Hong Kong, with DVGW certified press fittings from the manufacturer called Swiss Fittings AG.

    Very happy for any feedback.

Short update, I called Viega, and they informed me that the V-Profile is the same in Europe and in North America. Of course they dont know about the M-Profile. Therefore, I called Swiss Fittings (GDPress) and Geberit, and both companies told me that there also should not be a difference. The RIDGID can be used to press the fittings to the pipe.
