  • Back From Nashville Pumper Cleaner Show

Well I am back in the office trying to work my way through about 150 emails . I was working the Pumper Cleaner show in nashville last week. Our booth was packed the whole time so I had to play salesman the whole time I was there. Found out I know the SeeSnake line really well, drain cleaning pretty well. and Locating I know how to do it but dont know anything beyone how to locate a sonde. I'm gonna have to learn next year. Anyways.. heres a pic of our booth. Notice the nice seesnake micro display in the front corner.

We were next to the PolyJohn booth and they were playing a video in loop really loud. Drove me nuts by the end of the second day.

    Later,

    Josh

    Josh,

The booth looks great but when are we going to actually get to play with the micro? I am really looking forward to the possible uses in my construction defect and forensic investigations.

Welcome home and that display looks nice. You needed to tell the other booth to TURN DOWN THE NOISE. Tell them it's an order and not a request. LOL

                Josh,

Okay no more teasing we need some answers. How much will this device cost, when will it be available and when do we get to play with one? I have a project coming up where we may need several of these. I would hate to go out and buy a bunch of non-Ridgid borescopes only to find out the Ridgid was a better choice.

                  Josh,

One more question for you. Does the micro have a video-out ability so I can record on a digital camcorder or whatever?

                  Thanks-Mark

Re: Back From Nashville Pumper Cleaner Show

mark, my source tells me it's ot a list of $239.00.

at this time there is no video out or digital memory card.

there are 3' extensions, max. 30'. and it's waterproof to 10'

                    the head is approx. 5/8''

anything else, you'll have to wait and see

One way you could try one out is a hands on demo. Our site is set up to take requests for demos now. http://www.ridgid.com/Tools/Product-Info-Request

                      Plumber Rick's info is legit.

Wait and see heck I ordered one today. They say it should be delivered on Friday and I thought they weren't even available yet. Assuming it arrives Friday I will give you a comparison report between the micro and the two non-Ridgid units I own now.

mark, where did you order one from? what was the cost?

what are your other units that you use?

the fiber optic unit i have is not as good as a monitor. but it does fit into a 1/4'' opening.

                            Rick,

I ordered it from ToolUp.com for $216.00 plus $7.00 for shipping. The other units I have are Vue-Its but the head is 1", the wand is 18" and they have a separate 4" monitor.
