Bought sharkbites the other day ($500 worth) at a supply house; for arguement sake we'll just call it Ferguson's. Went to a home improvement warehouse with my wife later that night, we'll just make up a name and say Home Depot. Out of curiosty I checked the price of the sharkbites and they were anywhere from 2-3 $ less. Help me understand this. How do I go to a supply house under my employer's name in which we do over 100,000 of business a year and get charged MORE for the same part than a customer who has no documented track record at a store get the same part for less? Am I looking at this wrong? And passing the cost to the customer is not an acceptable reply.

Are plumber's getting overcharged?
