  • Outhouse or Privy toilet cone/riser/pedestal?

I was looking for some toilet risers/cones/pedestal similar to what the forest service uses in there privys.

I located a place where I can get a fiberglass unit, actually two of them via the web,

Does any one know where one can get one in stainless steel? and a urinal in stainless, that would be sutable for this type of sutuation.

I would think in a public location a steel unit would stand up longer, or be able to take more abuse than one of fiber glass.

I could go to the local machine shop and have a few pieces sheet steel sheared and then plasma torch out the top and the flange and weld some up but was wondering if any one has seen a supply source and a reasonable cost,

If this project comes to pass will probly be utlizing a simular plan to like this,

Probly using the 4 fixture plan on the bottom of the page,

Only place I have ever seen penalware (no joke, that's what its called) is in prisons or jails.

And no I was not a guest, I was there during the construction phase.

Here is a link to some SS fixtures:

I'm not sure where to find a SS cone though.

There may be some inherent danger to certain wet body parts if they were to accidentally touch the SS in the winter months. Tongue on flag pole syndrome

thank you for the leads the plan was to use a conventional plastic seat and lid, jsut the cone being Stainless.

and if this project goes through I don't think it would get much if any winter use,

I think Halsey Taylor may have them. McMaster Carr should also carry them, they are used in alot of institutional applications. If you don't find them from the 2 listed, let me know and I will ask my man at the supply house
