  • Brilliant!

    Ok..I like technology, it's great.
I like having info I need for daily work right at my fingertips, yup.
Downloaded NFPA-54, the nat'l fuel and gas code on .PDF format, psyched that I can flip through whatever info I need at a glance without having a 20 lb book in my lap as I type out estimates, size jobs ..etc.
Went to print a page and I realized it was the wrong chart, second try and again...wrong chart - two pages crumpled into the garbage...oops.
Finally see the right page, click "print" and I get an error message stating I've exceeded my limit of copies for this manual.
Apparently they only allow you to make two copies, whether it's one page or the whole book.
This is sure to be a fun time when I call tech support on Monday to see how (if) I can get at least one copy printed.
    Anyone else have this trouble?

Could you high light the whole thing, copy it, then paste it to wordpad or where ever, then print it out from there....
Great Link for a Construction Owner/Tradesmen, and just say Garager sent you....

Tried it, they're not stupid...the copy/paste function is disabled.
Besides, there's no possible way I could copy all the tables & charts the same way.

You did'nt hear this from me but, it is entirely possible to scan the whole code book into adobe reader and then burn it to cd. But you did'nt hear it from me. Nudge, nudge, wink wink

Just do what I do and memorize the code. Nothing like sitting by a warm fire reading the National gas code.

You don't need that book anyway Duck Butter. Just post your questions right here and I am positive you will have the answers. Some people love to quote some code.

Had some time this afternoon, was able to call them before 5.
They did some kinda reset and I just printed all 189 pages.
