Is this the way you guys rough in/finish your closet supplies? Have I been doing it wrong all this time? Local Quizno's, less than a year old.

Yes it is, it keeps the toilet brush from tipping over, and its easier to get to since its not behind the toilet.

I can neither confirm or deny that statement.

Somebody probably changed the floor plan after the rough was in.

Without better pictures it would be hard to tell for sure but I would have to agree with you. I wonder if the water closet was roughed in at 15" on center instead of 18" so he spun it and set a 14" water closet.

Could be. I didn't think so as the lav. appears to be roughed in correctly to the left. Even if they screwed up, I would have thought they would have hugged the wall with the copper around to the right position. Make lemonade at least...

Gawd, you guys are so damned picky. don't you realize that you could be tragically hurting some poor slob's feelings. Not to mention his pride. Is'nt enough that he managed to make it work.?

I have seen that before in modular homes...

I think what Alphacowboy means is that maybe the rough in of the water supply was intentionally located on that wall to keep it out of an exterior wall and freezing.... ( Just a guess)

I have seen something like this done on a cheapskate ADA remodel where a toilet had to be relocated for compliance issues...
