Ben, to truly appreciate Rick it is best to have him in small doses. By 10:30 last night I had already been with him ALL day, which included a 2 hour car ride. So, I was happy to be playing a game with the girls

BTW, he never tells me not to get that one last pair of shoes, so he will never develop bad eyes

i know that ridgid had a pipe puller to assist in pulling hub and spigot pipe together. can't find it right now on line as my printed catalogs are at home.

                    Re: pvc pipe puller

Large PVC, I just do what I do on bell & spigot 3" or less....use a steel rod or wrecking bar thats anchored into the dirt...or simply use a cumalong with friction clamps. (the cumalong works pretty well on larger CI bell & spigot too)
Last thing in the world I need are more tools...I barely know where to find what I already have.

try looking at the #228 ridgid soil pipe assy. tool.

if you can wait, you'll see it at the roundup

we have one but it will not work

duck all the pipe is in the ceiling

i will have to just use some 2x4s and the beams for lavage

                            Re: pvc pipe puller

it is not all that bad doing 6" but to hold the pressure on the fitting for the glue to set up is the problem . i dont have the problem it is my helpers i keep pushing them of the ladder because they cant push back enough [ light weights ]

so i give them the 2x4 to hold it

im waiting for the reed rep to give me a demo of theirs we will see
