  • Memorial day weekend work.

I got two calls on Saturday which I took care of. None on Sunday and so far none today. For you 24 hour service guys, did you work this weekend? If so how many calls, etc.?

    Re: Memorial day weekend work.

Saturdays calls were a water heater in an attic with no drip pan, leaking from the relief valve and ruined the cieling below. the PRV was bad (120 psi) so i cahnegd that and the relief valve, going back to install a drain pan and thermal expansion tank.
The next call was a leaky delta moniter anti-scald shower valve, replaced the cartridge and then repaired some odds and ends in the house while I was there. Not really an emergency, but I was in the neighbor hood when a previous customer called.

All A/C work for me this weekend... We are in the first real heat of the summer.

      Saturday
-Installed 4 Ton Heat Pump Condenser
-Replaced 3 ton A-coil ( Got the piss shocked out of myself on that one)
-Diagnosed rusted condensate Pan ( Will replace Tuesday)
-Diagnosed Burn-out on the oldest 3 ton lennox I have ever seen. ( Replace Wednesday)

      Sunday
-I hate working on Sunday but I have a major install I'm behind on so I logged a few hours on it ( my wife helped me:-))
-Customer at 11:00PM last night broke exterior hose bib off inside wall and could not find water shut off, what a mess...

      Monday
So far I have taken 2 calls and have the work scheduled for later this week.

I have Sat, Sun & Mon. off. One of the benefits of being a employee I guess. Feels good to have the time off, I have been doing six day weeks for a while now.

Vacuumed, dusted and cleaned up around the house. Then crushed a 330 mile loop to get my little sister.

          Boy was I pooped.

Plenty of satisfied satisfied customers yesterday.

Wonder what the phone's gonna bring today.

I normally schedule calls on Saturday as my customers like the flexibillity. This Saturday I scheduled 2 calls. I was done by 1:30.

No calls yesterday, and so far mo calls today.

I'm stuck in the office all day today so I can take time out for the Round Up.

                No calls...woohoo!
Right as I started to type a response, the phone rang.
I mumbled "no, no way"...turned out to be my buddy inviting me over for a cookout...he's 2 hours away so we're stayin' home.
Just off from an outrageously busy month, no guilt here in giving my back & body some recoup time.

Worked Saturday, did five calls on Sunday and just installed a clean-out today.
I haven't had a day off in like three weeks now....

I had multiple calls on saturday, worked all day.

                      I had nothing on sunday.

The phone is ringing today, for tomorrows schedule. As of yet, no emergencies.

Just one for me so far. Customer had water spitting out of the check valve on his sump pump all over his basement today. Looks like the pipe was slapping around too much and the fitting must have pulled out, no way to be sure he was attempting to fix it when I got there. Had a water heater call from the home warranty people but it was fifty miles away... we don't go that far.
