Re: Survival In The New Gas Economy

I already smell like I'm running on french fry oil~

I've raised my rates $10 more an hour...instead of the fuel surcharge.

I'm sure some did not like it....but.....that's just business.

I try my best to do everything possible to leave with a minimum of $100 in my hands for every house I pull up to......otherwise it isn't worth it.

Re: Survival In The New Gas Economy

To make up for the rising cost of Fuel and all the other increased cost related to it I try to pick up on other jobs I may have before turned away like working some nights and weekends . I try to keep most of my work local and if I have to go out futher I start the meter clicking when I leave the city limits. I dont want to raise my rates to my clients so I just have to put in more hours.
