            Tool, ya clutz...lol

There is lead wool in my truck now, only a little though.

The oldtimer basically used it for a CI joint that was half underwater under a slab....you won't be pouring hot lead into that situation.

btw...been almost 9 years for me.

Here's what a fresh poured joint looks like:

Wouldn't it be below the level of the hub if packed? Where are the inner and outer packing marks? Now you've been busted by a girl

Nope. Not an inspector. Just a wannabe DIY-er Rick, my ride-alongs have paid off and I never even broke a nail

Both inner and outer packing marks are there...dunno what you're used to, but we tend to be neat about packing.

As for being below the hub, I pour the lead right up to the top & pack solidly...if your lead is sinking too much after the pour, you might wanna consider packing more oakum.

You might want to consider using more than a 4 oz ball pean hammer.

Not if I had to shag a brother to do it!

Ahh.....I'd just buy the bidet, talk about it excessively at christmas, then tell drum machine stories till somebody slams the chex mix tray and sends snacks all over dining room. The silence would be deafening....
