What's the code installation for a Washing Machine under UPC? Measurements, DWV sizes? Curious.

Here, the bottom of the box must be 35" above finished floor.
      2" standpipe.
Minimum 24" drop to weir-Maximum 48". This can be aggravating because you cannot drill 2" horizontal through studs even if they are doubled. So that makes you have a trap installation underneath. 35" above finished floor+3/4" subfloor+5/8"backerboard & tile+10" TGI+2" to trap weir if held against the joist= 48-3/8". PIA.
No trap on the exterior wall without it being 2x6.
      Upsize the traparm to 3".

drill and add another stud outside pipe and box,if your span is over 16" throw in another.

does three inch have the same requirements as 2" as far as heights?
        don't think ours change

Our uniform building code allows us to drill up to 30%(bearing)60%(non-bearing)studs.It also requires 2X6 on all plumbing walls(never seen it enforced). They don't mess with us on it.

Although there was a period back in the eighties where there was a certain inspector
that was calling plumbers on not having the minimum distance(twice the diameter) on W/M trap arms.We all just slam the trap to the san-tee(or for sumsa you hacka boys,COMBOS).
