Re: Maximum slope of building sewer?

Seriously. That should be videoed as a teaching & learning tool. Many of us understand plumbing but have not "seen" it in action in the DWV system.

It would also be great to see things setup out of code tolerances malfunctioning with a similar setup within code operating correctly.

For us the pitch is 1/4" for all drains 3" & under, 1/8" for anything 4" & over.
The only thing we'd put a 1/2" pitch on is storm/roof drains.
Solids get left behind on a steep slope.
They're washed away by the next fixture draining.
If a solid were left behind in a home that were left unused for a week or two, it might dry in place.

Perfect timing I just started escrow on a home in Las Vegas this morning which has a detached casitas. Mi casitas es su casitas.

                It's the tourrettes Joey.
They're doing the best they can but still can't find a medication to quell the outbursts.

Oh thanks to the TOOL for catching my spelling error. I guess you and the other guy should form some kind of special forces here to catch all the mis spellers. I guess when you get old you got nothing else better to do.
