  • The plugged wc & the wet/dry vac

A plumber in Montreal told me this one.

He kept getting these calls at night by a well to do. Normally not a problem except that she had 3 other full baths in her multi- million $$ mansion.

Robert ( pronounced Roebear) apparently didn't apprectiate the late calls.

He told me that on the 4th or 5th late night, drunk customer call he had had enough.

Instead of scooping out the "present" from the customer, he went out to the van and brought in the wet/dry vac, plugged it in and removed the mess under the watchful eye of the "Lady".

Needless to say, she very quickly found out how vaccums work, and never called late again.

I had to remove a bunch of stone from a line once at a bank. They did not want to do it at night.
I used a shop vac and some sump hose, among other things.
I cleared it and saved them $30,000 for a dig up.

I never smelled a thing but one teller quit on the spot because of the stink
