    just curious.

    do you guys state side still use s-traps.

    we're not allowed to use them in Canada.

    not supposed to but they still sell them, heck it wasnt to long ago i saw a hardware store that was still selling drum traps

              i'm not too sure on that one bigpipe09. but i will check into it.

              all of the new installations up here are being spec'd with a mop sink that is flush with the floor. the rim is only 12" above the floor.

              it might have something to do with WCB.

                      We can repair or replace an existing s trap as part of a repair on an existing system.

                        i think those old ones are cool.

                        please forgive my ignorance. i don't get to see alot of old plumbing way the hell up here.

                        the town utilidor(sclair)is only about 30 years old. everything we have here is fairy high tech sh*t.

                        it's still sh*t. just high tech.

                        i once replaced the horn on the back of a old wc with the tank hanging in the wall. it was the chrome plated brass horn or elbow that connects the two together.

                        $500.00 retail in montreal.

                          They aren't allowed here, but I sure see a lot of old ones. Nobody wants to rip out the wall to repipe.
