  • Transitional band that handles 180 degrees?

I found out that the tie in I need to do, will require some form of rubber coupling that is rated for 180 degrees. Water this temperature will be flowing thru the 4 inch underground cast iron, via the floor drains. Mission has heavy duty ones, but they dont state maximum temperatures. Any ideas?

I'll catch the Red Eye with My new lead pot and runner. How many lengths of hub and spigot do we need! United cut Me off at 10 lengths to N.H. last week!!!
I can build anything You want , if you draw a picture of it , on the back of a big enough check .

What is letting out 180 F water?
If its a commercial kitchen, most fixtures use a cold water line with a VB( or better) and a solenoid valve to cool the outgoing water temp before entering the drainage.I believe 150 F is the max temp entering the trap where I'm from. Your code may differ.

Meat packing plant, cleaning floors. I know when it hits the sewer, it will be cooler. But this is what I am looking for.

Why not contact Fernco or Mission and ask them what temp their products are designed for? You may be surprised

i had a job at a lab that processed blood

the discharge water was very warm/ hot.

don't know if it was chemicals or constant heat, but the clay was rotted through at the bottom of the line for maybe 70'
