    Failure

    K60 would not spin it...

    Drill would not spin it...

Pulled the sink and put my back in to it.... With the owner watching me she popped like a spring ( I had a drop cloth wrapped around it when it broke)

        Concrete saw and jackhammer...

I kinda thought it was going to end up this way but I had to try getting it out first.

I'll take more pics as the job moves forward ( If I don't get shopped out on the estimate...lol)

        Okie

Is that a tight wind 5/8 cable? How old is your drill? I'm suprised Steve hasn't posted his 2 cents on a sectional cable failing.

The cable is an open wind 5/8" sectional cable (standard K50 cable).

The drill is about 40 years old, Works well. (I bet Rick has 4 of them :-P)

I got the call from the owner late this afternoon to start in the morning.

The owner is a good guy, He is putting his renters up in a hotel until Saturday and is boarding the peoples pets at the local doggie club med

                    Yup welcome to Hacktown

The line you see comming in from right to left under the kitchen sink is the relocated washing machine drain line from the garage.

I am going to take pride in ripping all of this hackjob out and making it right...

considering the k-60 didn't break it or the 3/4'' super hole shooter either, i would say the cable is better than everything else.

i should know better as i'm licensed and been at it for 33 years. licensed since i was 21.
