    your armed forces, have you ever seen a jet pump?

    that's what they call them up here.

    You're refering to well pumps? We're taught about them but realistically they don't get used very much. All we use are 5hp sumbersible centrifical pumps.
    Buy cheap, buy twice.

      no, i'm talking about the pumps used on a C-130 herc.

      they hook up a high pressure hose (3") from the aircraft's apu to the pump. the pump itself looks like a huge turbo charger.

      they pump fast and loud like a jet.

        I'm picturing some type of accessory attachment,like a P.T.O. on the hydrolic system of a tractor.

            This is what I know about a c-130.
            -loud
            -freezing cold
            -cramped

            My only experience is as a passenger. I know more about marines and army then the navy. Just the way seabees operate.
