  • The tankless that stole thanksgiving

so i get a panicked phone call from my dentist sister.

no hot water and friends are coming over

she has a noritz tankless that's 3 years old.

told her to check the manual and see if there's a code on the remote.

tankless with issues on a holiday are pricey and good luck finding the guy with the parts and the know how

i guess it could be worse

a plugged sink, with hot water, but no way to run the dishwasher or prep in the sink

still cheaper to find a drain cleaner than a noritz tech.

It wasn't his sister it was his dentist's sister. Of course now we will see what happens the next time he needs an emergency dental appointment.

                Nah,
I just think Rick had an opportunity to trash the next generation of water heaters so he took it.

Don't pick on Rick, he just feels repairing water heaters is a tankless job.

That was bad. Almost Milton Berleish.

I talked a well known politician out of one today. All I did was tell him the facts, the costs, and the maintenance of them.

I told him if we was in Arizona, by all means, do it.

Told him that it might be a go years from now, but until parts are readily available and they figure out how to overcome a 60 degree temperature rise in my area, it's a gamble.

And if the electric goes off, no hot water. We suffered from that a little bit this year....one week in particular that was horrible.

Something tells me the incoming administration will reinstate Federal Rebates regardless of whether it makes sense or not.

so here's the real answer, not sugar coated.

the owner called me today to give me a heads up.

turns out the gas meter was bad

somehow it wouldn't deliver enough gas.

this has been installed for 3+ years already.

                            interesting
