  • Well Whistle?

    a friend of mine called me the other day he said he was out by his pump house and heard a whisteling/hissing sound he thought he had a leak so he looked all over what he found was at the top of his well head air was coming out. his plumbing works fine and his pump is not cycleing when no water is used but he has lived there over ten years and its never done that before what do you guys think it is? i dont deal with wells to often

    if it is air coming out of the well cap it might be that the water level in the well is coming up and pushing out air ???

      Or he could have a bleed back valve in the well and again causing water to go in and air to go out thru the top.
      ANYONE CAN TAKE THE HELM WHEN THE SEA IS CALM.

        could have been barometric pressure difference.
