  • One DUMB mistake!

I've probably roughed out 100 showers in my plumbing career but I obviously wasn't using my brain last week. I roughed out a shower for a family friend and placed the 1/2" drop ear elbow at 78" from the floor. A few days later after the tile guys were done I walked into the bathroom and finally realized my booboo...... My family friend wanted to install a shower wand instead of the typical shower arm/head.....YEAH...DUH.....She had mentioned it before I even started the job so it's TOTALLY my fault. I need to drop it at least 4" to fit the bracket/wand in there. I really don't want to have to cut a hole in the closet wall behind it, drop it, and redo the piece of tile. Does anyone know of a NICE LOOKING brushed nickel bracket that will drop it at least 4" so that I don't have to do all that extra work. I feel bad about it and don't want to stick her with the typical shower arm/cheesy looking bracket combo. Thanks.

You may try a shower bar (height adjustable shower bars)...

I always suggest a bar for the flexibility of it. I use alot of Delta brand. Those hooks always end up falling off. Of course after the fact they may not like spending the money....
