            snap cutter <.<

What!? it just takes a few years off the cutters life
No, it's not rocket science, it's plumbing and unlike rocket science it requires a license.

14" Stihl gas saw and ductile iron blades.

I would like to see the snap cutters in action on the ductile, can you please make a video of that and post it up.

Gas powered saw with abrasive wheel, lots of noise and sparks!

I have never seen snappers work EVER! I want to see this or I don't buy it. Sorry.

                      Here is what I use:

                        Re: cutting ductile iron

I saw somewhere on a website they had like a diamond blade to cut ductile and also an attachment that went on the arbor of the gas saw that would bevel the ends but can't seem to locate it now.

Anybody seen or heard of this?

                          Re: cutting ductile iron

The diamond blade works real well. They show in the direction on the one that i bought that it was good for 80 cuts on 8" ductile. It cuts a lot faster and you don't have to change the blade, because it doesn't wear down like the abrasive ones, the only thing to remember is to get the direction arrow the right way. How do you cut ductile with a plasma cutter when it's cement lined??????

                            Re: cutting ductile iron

I have MILES of ductile in the ground, class 52 to class 56, We use a 14" demo saw w/ abrasive blade, diamond blades arent worth it based on my experience.

there are different grades of them. Don't buy the thin cheap ones.
