Also factor in jetting and snaking the lines at least once a year to remove the buildup the water used to carry away, and yes you may have to pull the urinal each time!

Waterless urinals are the worst drains I have cleaned. Would it kill some one to pull the Cartridge and run a few gallons of water through it. It seems to me that not only do you have to still treat the water that the urine ends up in but you also have to dispose of the cartridges. All your saving is the gallons per flush. Probably better off with a sensor unit that flushes every hour or something like that.

They are evil, stinking, non code compliant and a shining example of how industry whores get crap accepted.

This is what I suggest instead...even if it flushes out each urinal 8 times a day its still much better

Looks like those would be just plain nasty and smelly.

I have not run into these yet, thankfully.

I dislike the regular urinals, so I imagine I will absolutely hate these.

The money they save on water they can spend on an extra waterless urinal charge for me.

No.... there is a cartridge in where the pee goes it has a chemical that floats on water to seal the Drain and keep the odor down. lol
