I pipe drains from a service guy's perspective, trying to make everything drain perfect and be easy to snake out in the future.
I hate some of the new construction plumbing I see...hardly any cleanouts, and double san. tees on lavs, back to back toilets...they don't care about quality, and they make future drain-cleaning a b!tch.
I like how our code lets us use vent 90's after we tie in the basement vents and offset into the crawlspace with the same. It's above flood rim.

Why would a fitting under a crawlspace get more priority over one buried in drywall, tile, stucco or siding.

I add even more cleanouts since joining the forum. No double san-tees.I thought they were illegal.

Why use a vent 90 EVER? That is my question.

Sometimes the building structure is less affected by using one. Sometimes.

Inspector " fitting would be legal in wood frame ,is not in concrete, S.F. amendment to U.P.C."

Also, there is the commonly known Vent Ell, 90, & L.S. 90.

The Vent Ell being the tightest legal vent fitting. I have not used one in years.

Are you thinking of plastic or cast?

                You can snake through cast.

And plastic can get you out of some pretty tight spots without hacking up the framer's good work.

I thought it was less than forty five from the horizontal.

A LONG SWEEP IN C.I. IS LOOONG. Inspectors let us use mediums ,in their place.

I never used one...ever. I have seen them before. I didn't think they were legal. My first boss never used them and I picked up his habits.

Plastic. They look almost like pressure 90s to me.

Yeah, you go in a crawlspace, open a can of glue, then lose track of time & what happened.
