  • expansion tank--set on floor

Anyone have any thoughts on setting an expansion tank on the floor and tying in with Pex--for two reasons: too crowded above inlet piping, and the piping inadequate to support one filled with water. Or for that matter, just installing one under lav or sink somewhere.

    Thanks.

Buy a tank designed to sit on the floor, there are many brands out there.

Larger tanks are almost always on the floor with the inlet at the bottom.
