Re: Has a customer ever become violent?

I had a 10 yr old boy tell me he was going to let his pit bull go on me. I told him that if he did I would kill the dog. I stopped work and told the boys grandmother what he said and what I said in response. She yelled at him and I went back to work. He opens a window and tells me "your a SOB" and that he was going to let his dog go on me. I tell him again that if he does I will kill the dog and instructed my apprentice to get my probe and my axe. He says he is going to tell his father and I said good I look forward to speaking with your father about his F'd up kid. I was about 23-25 yrs old at the time. LOL

I have been told to "get the F off my property" by a homeowner before.

As far as violent, god forbid that ever happens because it's just not worth it...

Re: Has a customer ever become violent?

I've never had a customer get violent, and I've never had a customer throw me out of their home.

However, I've 1 or 2 intense discussions before with a homeowner about the way to tackle a Plumbing problem.

The only time I ever came close to blows was with carpenters/handymen , 1 other Plumber, and 2 countermen. I find that most carpenters around here are the most arrogant a$$holes known to mankind. They absolutely know more about Plumbing then we do.

I was parked in an alley with the back doors open when some kids a few doors away started raining pellets on me and a coworker.
