    Re: GreyWater Pipe

    No fair.

Mrs. Joey has a phone a friend to help with the plumbing.

Guess I have to make friends with someone with a degree in human behavior to help me out.

      Re: GreyWater Pipe

Are there any links to GreyWater pipe manufacturers? I poked around and couldn't find any.

      Didn't find it on Google.

      Or Goggle.

In all fairness, it was my own knowledge. Mark just confirmed it in order to ensure you believed me. If there is something purple out there in the world I know about it!

Actually I was on the phone with Joey while she was reading your post and she asked me if reclaimed water was purple. So I may have confirmed her beliefs but she came up with the facts.

I just googled purple pipe and it explains about recycled/reclaimed water if that is what you are calling grey water.

I believe you are correct. Recycled=Greywater but not potable.

I found that also. But I haven't found a manufacturer & price yet.

I doubt you will find it at a plumbing wholesale house. You will need to either go to a waterworks supply or an irrigation supply.

I think in UNDER IPC. grey water has to be colored with dye.
Has anybody worked with Sloans little grey water system yet? It goes under a lav and pumps grey water to the toilet.

Haven't heard of it. But I am sure it will be a law here soon. We saved so much water in Tucson that they had to raise the prices to make money.

Are you serios? The system has to be a better water saver then waterless urinals.. I sure hope they don't interfere with installing toilet seat bidets!!!!!!

Purple pipe is for reclaimed water, which has gone through some form of basic filtration. Grey water (emanating from washing machines, showers, lavies, etc.) is still raw, not untreated or filtered. Black water is from toilets and kitchen sinks.
