  • Any Soft Copper?

I need a piece of 1" soft copper between 6'-10'. Anyone?

I've already checked three other plumbers in the area....nada. And I don't need the whole roll.

Shot in the dark and a strange request I know. But there it is....

    J.C.

(I'll check back late tonight if someone does post or PM me. Got to get my rock groove on.)

I probably got some laying around.

I double check and let you know for sure.

EDIT-- I do have some- 1" K. If you don't need it real fast, I can send you some.

Do you want 1" OD or do you mean 1-1/8 OD as would be 1" type L copper pipe?

I have a couple rolls of 1" Type K sitting around collecting dust. But I think I am too far from you.

                  Re: Any Soft Copper?

First of all, thanks for all replies. Much more than expected.

                  A couple of answers:

Typical 1" ID Type L copper should suffice.

I need to make a stub for a small commercial building before the concrete floor is poured. Sleeved in PVC from outside into the mechanical room. 6' feels like minimum-10' should be a little more than necessary.

Now who to get it from.

I promise you, I have not checked pricing/ft. for 1" soft yet but Wrench's offers seems fair. I'll probably contact him unless someone else is real slow and needs the money. Which is fine, we've all been there temporarily. If so, PM me and I'll work it out with you instead.

Once again thanks. Pretty great how helpful other tradespeople can be. Hope I help some too.

                  J.C.

With that comment and the picture of you and Charlie, you're 2 steps away from being a pudding pusher.

Commercial stub under concrete? I'd go K if you can get it.
