          I did a remodel 20-years ago where the owner was renting the home across the street for $8.000 a month so he could keep an eye on things. I think I would have taken a European vacation and asked photos be mailed to me.

                the job i was at today has a 1500' condo that was renting for 25k a month 2 years ago

                remember that location is the key to prices.

                this is literally across the street from world famous venice beach

                      this was santa monica. where a condo in that building starts at 2m and goes to 7m.

                      look at the roof top view from my plumbers milkshake to appreciate the surrounding.

                      if i told you the location and the celeberties that have and do live in the building, you'd see why it's a high rent unit. but i can't.

                      sure 25k is crazy, but so is $500 a night in a hotel room. supply and demand.
