  • American Standard Toilet Seal

I need to replace this seal. Does the part at the top of the flush valve just spin off like a Mansfield?

Thanks. Don't want to break it.

j.c. that flush valve is a good 50 years old and i still have parts

yes the top stop just unscrews from the threaded pipe. it's a fine thread.

been years since the last one i've serviced.

we are required to replace to low flow with the sale of a house. can't close escrow so most of these old toilets are installed in homes that people haven't touched. 1990 was the low flow start and now it's down to 1.28 gpf.

Info I've received is that an earpiece/microphone will be available soon. Cat#30073. No, you won't find it searching the Ridgid site yet.

The labeling is a software application update. Update the software and the keyboard is available in the menu.

Both might come in handy for some.

For anyone that has a microEXPLORER, go out to www.microEXPLORERcamera.com and you can download the new software with the titling function.

I'm glad to see it's being used already!
