I put a new stem in an older one today, and instead of leaking from the handle, it dripped. I also went on a call today for one I installed last year. Lady said no water comes out. She was right, I pulled the stem and the washers were coming loose at the end. Tightened the screw.

    What brand to go with?

      I asked woodford about the 19 and pressure relief and they recommend I use the 25 since it will always drain down.

        Been installing arrowhead for, as long as I can remember. Never had a problem with any of them. Probably installed around two thousand of them in my career

          The 25 is clearly a more foolproof choice. I wonder how much more it costs than the 19? Most customers don't want to spend big $$ on a hose bibb.

                I love the woodfords , easy to get replacement parts, and the arrow head brand as wwell.We all know Mansfield sucks big ones , and preir sucks to.
