  • Hacktown revisited

It has been a while since I have posted some of Hacktowns finest

All of the towels keep the leak from spreading

Bradford White Leaker (I had to see what happened)

Nope, I'm not tilting the camera

Greywater recovery or tired of sewer backing up and having to mow this spot in the yard 4 times a week...LOL

    Mix and match...

Why we sleeve our pipes through Mortar (sch40 exposed side)

Tin Can thin side that was inside brick wall

    Have a great weekend everyone!

Well said. I love them too. The laughs, followed by the questioning why, followed by that feeling of remorse for the poor schmuck who has that under the sink at their house. That's how it goes for me at least!

Sorry, all I had was my camera phone but I had to get this for you all.
The homeowner had her bathroom floor re-tiled and called me to reset the toilet. This is the cap on the straight stop as it protrudes through the floor. I thought I'd seen everything.

House was formerly owned by a local new plumber. He installed a mixing valve to a hosebib and then closed up the wall. The check valve sprung a leak. I capped everything off and installed a new bib around the corner.

This is a first for me. The absentee owner of this illegal quad-plex said that the toilet was fine the way it is---I didn't so much as walk away as run....
